How do I change my address?
Please use the Client Address Change Form. We do not accept address changes by telephone. Please mail the form to the attention of Waveland Capital Group LLC, or scan and email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or fax to 949-759-5009.
Does Waveland provide for direct deposit?

Who do I contact regarding my distribution check?
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call our Accounting Manager at 949-706-5000, ext. 110. Please provide your name, daytime phone number, including area code, account number, and the last four digits of your Social Security Number or Tax ID number for verification.
What should I do if my check is lost, stolen, or stale dated 120 days?
If your check is lost or stolen, contact Waveland’s Accounting Manager immediately at 949-706-5000, ext. 110. Any check outstanding more than 120 days should be marked “VOID” and returned to Waveland Capital Group LLC for reissuance. As soon as the stale dated check is received, Waveland will reissue the check to you on our next distribution check run.
I have not received my check in several months, what do I need to do?
Oil and gas distribution checks are not guaranteed to be paid every month. Feel free to contact us if you have questions at 949.706.5000, ext. 110.
It is important to note that monthly distributions will fluctuate due to oil and gas prices and variations in operating expenses.
When should I expect my current month distribution check?
Please allow 10 business days to receive your current month distribution check. Distribution checks are normally mailed on the 10th day of the current month. Direct deposit recipients receive payment by the 10th day of the current month. If this date falls on a weekend or holiday, checks will be mailed on the business day immediately following the holiday or weekend.
What is an Investment Confirmation and how do I get one?
An Investment Confirmation is a written letter indicating that your investment has been received and is being processed. The Investment Confirmation is sent via email if we have your email address on record, and mailed otherwise. Please allow up to 10 business days to receive it by mail.
Once you login to our website, you can access and download a copy of the client’s Investment Confirmation located in the Dashboard or under My Accounts.
A copy of the Investment Confirmation is automatically emailed to your registered broker of record.
Can I expect to get a K-1 every year?
Yes. K-1s are accessible to download on our website by March 15th each year. If you have provided us with an email address, see Website Login and Password section for login information. If we don’t have your email address on record, K-1s are mailed out by March 15th. Please allow up to 10 business days for receipt by mail.
Before you are able to access your K-1 online, you will be asked to click on the “Consent” button acknowledging that you are receiving these documents electronically instead of paper format.
How do I login as an investor?
You are automatically registered with a login account when you provide us with your email address with your investment documents. The default login is your registered email address, and the password is the last four digits of your Social Security Number or Tax ID number. Contact email@example.com if you have any difficulties logging in to the secure section of our website.
How do I login as a financial advisor?
You are automatically registered with a login account if you have conducted business with us and have provided us with your email address. Beginning in the first quarter of 2013, a log in email will be sent to you after you have been entered into our database. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any difficulties logging in to the secure section of our website.
How do I retrieve my login password?
Click on the “i” icon located in the middle of the login top banner of the Home page. Then click on the “Forgot your password?” link and enter your email address. If the email address that you have entered matches the email address that we have in our database, the password will be emailed to the address that you provided.
How do I change my password?
After you log in, click on Account Update located under My Account on the top menu. We highly recommend that you change your password and use a combination of numbers and symbols in your password.
Is my personal information on your website secure?
We recognize that many people are concerned about the privacy and protection of information as it is transmitted over the Internet. You should keep in mind that the possibility exists for unauthorized individuals to intercept any e-mail message you send over the Internet. In some cases, information can be encrypted (scrambled or encoded) to make it very difficult to read if it is intercepted during communication.
